Born and reared in Bunkie, Louisiana, Ro Edwards started her journey in 2020 in search of an clearer understanding about the different cultural in Corporate America. She enrolled in a program that guided her perspective, enhanced her intelligence, and fostered an attitude to learn more about people, cultural, and environments. Dr. Ro received her Doctorate degree in Global Leadership and Change from Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. Dr. Ro also holds an MBA from Baker College – Center for Graduate Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
As Co-Founder and Co-Chief Diversity Officer of BE Inclusively Diverse, LLC, Dr. Ro continues to educate others about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. With more than twenty years of corporate experience and training, she possesses the inner strength and knowledge to assist others in their pursuit of learning about cultural differences. Throughout her tenure at many organizations, Dr. Ro observes the lack of diversity in leadership positions and continues to educate others about the discrepancies. Dr. Ro feels that educating people, companies, and organizations is the only way to bring awareness to culture and social differences, systemic injustices, and conscious and unconscious biases in the workplace. Dr. Ro enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a proud board member of many community organizations and has insurmountable love for the City of Akron and its community.
